‘The Light’
Derry singer George Hutton’s voice shines on his new single ‘The Light’. Known primarily for the incredible vocal abilities that have made Hutton equally comfortable singing classical music as with traditional Irish music, his new single again shows his confidence as a songwriter as well as a singer. The Light marks his second originally penned song, following ‘The Rising Steam’, and once more Hutton makes confident and comfortable strides into songwriting. The lyrics and music evoke a sense of mystical Ireland, as the Derry man’s voice croons notes both strong and soothing. Fans of Christy Moore, Phil Coulter and other greats of traditional Irish music will delight in Hutton’s talents, which are on full display here on The Light.
