It’s just under two months until the biggest party of the year in the Belfast music calendar, AVA Festival. With headliners Central Cee, Peggy Gou and Slowthai demonstrating a new developing direction for the iconic festival, we’ve selected some of the other acts that we think you should check out each day.

FRIDAY

IMNOTYOUR MATE

After filling in for a last-minute Boiler Room in 2022, Belfast-based Techno purveyor IMNOTYOURMATE absolutely cemented himself as a must see this time around. 

PRETTY GIRL

Hailing from Australia, Pretty Girl’s live shows bring euphoria and heartbreak into an impressive dancefloor marriage, one that we expect to go down well with a Belfast crowd.

OVERMONO

One of the most enjoyable sets of last year, Overmono return to spin their classics along with their new album ‘Good Lies’ coming out this May - certainly only more of a reason to get to see them.

KEM 

A Belfast rising star on the local circuit, KEM has a wealth of floor fillers in her collection that we think will be absolute bliss on a sunny day on the Slipways.

KOJAQUE

Part of the growing hip-hop population at AVA, we’ll be excited to see what energy he brings to the docks after such a high-intensity performance a few years ago.



SATURDAY

FUNK TRIBU 

Nothing like some 90’s nostalgic rave to get you flying high on a Saturday in Belfast, so be sure to get straight to Funk Tribu’s set to satisfy your souls!

DJ BORING 

A true master of eclectism and crowd-satisfying rave tunes, anyone who caught him at Inside Moves will tell ya, this is one not to sleep on!

Two homegrown powerhouses joining forces to blow away a home crowd will be something truly awe-inspiring.

Some insanely high-tempo techno, hardcore and trance is just what you need to bring in the summer vibes.
