AVA PLAYLIST:

TIMMY STEWART: A HISTORY OF BELFAST UNDERGOUND MUSIC

Ahead of AVA London, the legend of the night, Timmy Stewart (The Night Institute/ Black Bones) crafted us a playlist oof the underground tracks that have carved the identity of Belfast's nightlife

Reflecting on his selections, the DJ, producer, promoter and label head said: “One of the best things about NI is just how broad the range of artists and musical styles are here at present. It’s always been a place with a small population but a huge creative heart and it’s been great to see people finally get confident in their abilities and talent across the last decade. The number of great DJs, producers, labels and nights that form the current landscape is finally putting Northern Ireland on the global electronic music map.”

His sentiment can only be supported by the leading Belfast festival’s music conference, taking place this Friday and inviting industry leaders, artists and game changers to share ideas, exchange knowledge and grow ideas and unite music’s brightest minds before congregating on the iconic Printworks dancefloor.
